Back on my reading campaign

The fall semester starts next week on Monday August 24, 2009 and on that day I am going to resume my reading campaign. Reading is fundamental, the whole point of research is to WRITE so that others can READ and LEARN from your experiments/simulations/implementations. So, my goal is to skim (spend about 2 hours) reading a different paper everyday. I will keep track of this through my citeulike page at http://www.citeulike.org/user/ptony82/. Implementation is good, but reading and understanding is key. All in all, I'm going to be a PhD student for a long time, but I love not having to deal with the real world. I'm out.
